Shure Applications Engineering Team Educates Dealers Online

Training Webinars Give Sales Reps Training Assistance On Variety Of Topics

NILES, IL, March 15, 2007 – Shure Incorporated announced today that it has launched a new online educational tool designed to provide both technical and product training to Shure dealers and contractors. The new training webinars will be lead by Shure’s Applications Engineers and will last between 30 to 45 minutes. Some of the initial topics that will be covered include: effective wireless antenna set-up, proper frequency coordination/Wireless Workbench tutorial, UHF-R product training, and overviews of various product lines like KSM recording microphones.

“We are pleased to offer this new, efficient online training vehicle to our reps and their key accounts,” said Michael Pettersen, Director of Applications Engineering. “I strongly encourage our dealers and contractors to contact their Shure rep to schedule a training seminar using these webinars. Whether it’s for the purposes of a new product training or even a refresher course on a technical topic, Applications Engineering will work with the Shure reps to customize a training to best suit your needs.”

These training webinars being offered by Shure will make it possible for up to five different computers to log in and participate at one time. Each presentation will be viewed via computer while the Shure trainer leads the webinar via phone. Participants will be able to ask questions and interact with one another in real time, adding a personal touch to these training sessions.

These training sessions are for Shure dealers only.  Please note that all webinars will be conducted by request only and that these requests must be made through a Shure sales rep.  A minimum one-week lead-time is required for all webinars. For more information, Shure dealers and contractors are encouraged to contact their local Shure sales rep.
