Wireless Workbench Version 4.2
Wireless Workbench® System Control Software is Shure's comprehensive tool for remote monitoring and control of individual and networked receivers. It provides full PC control of all vital system parameters.
Minimum Computer Requirements
* Windows 2000, XP (Home,Professional or Media Center) and XP Tablet PC 2005
* 750 MHz processor
* 20 MB hard drive space
* 256 MB RAM
Downloading and Installing the Wireless Workbench Software:
1. Download the file, us_pro_wwb_v4_2_final.exe to a new directory.
2. From Windows Explorer, click the file 'us_pro_wwb_v4_2_final.exe' and follow instructions on the screen.

New Features for Version 4.2
Use Multiple PCs for Monitoring and Operating
Send commands from two or more computers simultaneously.
Simultaneous Multi-Band Scan Display In Single Window (Max. 3 Bands)
RF scan – User can set line thickness and color of lines for UR4’s.
Frequency Plots – One window for all of US bands from 518-698Mhz.
Waterfall Plots – One window for ABJ with A and B bands displayed.

Back Up Frequency Set Up
Create a set of compatible frequencies for back up (limited to Synthesis Mode).
Optional Frequency Data Plot Display
View the frequency data plot when a scan is in progress.

Remote Channel Scan
Perform single band channel scans through AMX and Crestron systems.
Single Band Setup
Single channel setup can now be performed through Wireless Workbench. It was previously available
only through UR4D/UR4S Front Panel GUI.

Output level Control
Output level is now adjustable and displayable in Wireless Workbench. It was previously available
only through UR4 Front Panel GUI.

Battery Time Reference
Quickly and easily reference remaining transmitter battery life in hours.

Uninstall
Wireless Workbench now provides an uninstall script to remove it from the system without the need
of going through the control panel. Uninstalls will not remove important files like custom groups, scan
and scenes.
Multi-Install
Multiple versions of Wireless Workbench can now be installed on the same machine (with the exception
of version 4.0, which cannot run on the same machine while versions 4.1 or 4.2 are running).
Frequency Compatibility Button
Compatibility button added for easy access.

New Commands
Windows Hotkey TAB functionality added to navigate within Wireless Workbench.
Windows Hotkey ESC functionality added to close any window (with warning message) within the
Compatibility program.
In the System Synthesis Selection window, press “enter” to enter systems.
Cancel
Cancel button added to all screens of the compatibility program to close the wizard at any time.
Windows Expansion
Expand the compatibility wizard to view longer lists without scrolling.
Nameless Receiver Support
Keep a receiver on the network with no assigned name.
Re-Synthesize At Different Compatibility Levels
Re-set and re-synthesize without backing up in the program to find more frequencies.

Import and Export Manual On-Air Frequencies
Import a list of usable frequencies, update it with a new known frequency, and export that list for the
next time the environment changes.

Data Save
Choose to either save data or exit without saving upon clicking the “Finish” button in the compatibility wizard.
