DFR11EQ Feedback Reduction
The DFR11EQ offers unparalleled automatic feedback protection.
Why you need automatic feedback protection:
- Because no sound system has an absolutely flat frequency response, feedback occurs at certain frequencies more than others
- Lowering the gain at these frequencies will allow your system to operate at a higher volume before it begins to howl
How it works:
- Feedback is detected at a specific frequency
- A 1/10th octave, 3dB notch filter is deployed
- The notch will continue to deepen in 3dB steps and narrow to 1/40th octave until the feedback is eliminated
- Up to 10 filters can be deployed automatically
Automatic Filter Conversion - from Feedback Filter to Parametric EQ Settings:
- This function allows users to quickly deploy up to 20 filters to reduce feedback, as well as to combine feedback filters deployed in very close proximity
- By pressing the "TO PEQ" button, either one or all feedback filter settings can be converted into parametric EQ filter settings automatically
