DFR22 Feedback Reduction
Shure's digital signal processors offer unparalleled automatic feedback reduction.
Why you need automatic feedback protection:
- Because no sound system has an absolutely flat frequency response, feedback occurs at certain frequencies before others
- Adaptive equalization at these frequencies flattens the response of the system
- The system can operate at a higher overall volume level without feeding back
How it works:
- Feedback is detected at a specific frequency
- A shallow, narrow notch filter is deployed
- If necessary, the notch will continue to deepen and narrow (up to 1/70th octave) until the feedback is eliminated
- 16 filters per channel can be deployed automatically

Auto Clear
- Clears the dynamic filters and re-sets the depth setting of fixed filters
- Triggered by a preset change or power cycle
- Can also be triggered by a timer

Cut & Paste Filter Conversion - from DFR to Parametric EQ
- Allows users to use more than 16 filters to reduce feedback
- Provides ability to fine tune filter width and depth settings
