MV7+ microphone

From content creators to musicians on the move, the original MV7 won over legions of fans with its amazing sound and easy connectivity. It was the perfect microphone to make professional recordings in spaces with less than perfect acoustics.

So when it came time for an update, Shure engineers had to put on their thinking caps: How do you make a great mic even better? But improve it they did, both in terms of audio quality and overall functionality.

Vibrant Audio in Living Color

The first thing you’ll notice distinguishing the MV7+ from its predecessor is the extremely cool customizable LED touch panel on the top: Not only can you select from 16.8 million different hues to make the panel match your own style, but you can use it as an audio level meter or switch on an eye-catching pulse effect. Streamers are no doubt going to love that one.

But it doesn’t just look good – it’s also extremely useful. Don’t want a constant hot mic? You can instantly mute the MV7+ by tapping anywhere on the LED panel.

Focused on Your Voice

The microphone uses advanced Voice Isolation Technology to separate your voice from unwanted distractions, so you can make perfect recordings no matter where you might be. And the updated model now has a real-time Denoiser leveraging cutting-edge DSP technology to eliminate ambient noise in your room as it happens.

The MV7+ also has an improved Auto Level Mode that adjusts the gain based on distance, volume and spatial detection for optimized audio levels. This means you don’t have to worry about your volume if, for example, you happen to get a little exuberant while recording a podcast interview or streaming your best Fortnite match ever.

Podcasters hate plosives – those harsh consonant sounds that can blow out your audio – so we’ve added a Digital Popper Stopper to eliminate them without the need for a pop filter. This is also a great feature if you’re a YouTuber or TikToker and worried about a physical filter blocking your video shot.

Naturally, some things haven’t changed with the latest iteration: The new MV7+ is still a dynamic microphone, which means it’s going to be far more forgiving of poor acoustic spaces than a comparable condenser microphone would.

USB-C and XLR Connectivity

The MV7+ isn’t just for content creators, of course. Musicians loved the first iteration for its amazing sound, ease of use and especially its dual USB-C and XLR outputs that make it compatible with any recording setup. That all stays the same. As does the extremely handy 3.5mm headphone jack that lets you monitor your audio in real-time.
