Wondering what makes Shure KSM studio microphones sound like no other? Grammy-winning engineer Paul Norris from London's Metropolis Studios describes using the versatile KSM range for the first time.

Over the years, a number of top international artists have walked through the doors of Metropolis looking to capture the essence of their music and give it a certain extra something. The studio's chief engineer is inspired by very natural sounding audio, so when we sent him a bunch of our KSM microphones and asked him to record a session, we knew he would have a lot of fun! 

Watch this interview to hear Paul talk through what he's looking for when it comes to microphones and find out if our KSM Studio Collection meets his needs.
