The Shure UA834&nbsp;is a low-noise, in-line VHF and UHF antenna amplifier. It is intended for remote-mounting antennas to a Shure receiver or Model UA845UWB, or UA844+ distribution amplifier in a large installation.

The unit receives power through its output port from the Shure receiver, UABIAST or distribution amplifier. When an antenna is remote mounted, the UA834&nbsp;amplifies the received radio signals to compensate for insertion loss in the coaxial cable. A gain selector switch adjusts for longer lengths of coaxial cable.

The Shure Model UA845UWB is an amplified, VHF and UHF Antenna Distribution System that expands a wireless microphone system by splitting one pair of antennas to multiple Shure Axient Digital, UHF-R, ULX-D, BLX4R, SLX4 and BLX4R. It also amplifies RF signals to compensate for insertion loss due to splitting signal power to multiple output connectors. Each UA845UWB allows up to four receivers to use the same antennas. CASCADE connectors allow connections to a fifth receiver or a second UA845UWB.

Expandability. The UA845UWB Antenna Distribution System is designed for large Axient Digital, UHF-R, ULX-D&trade;, QLX-D, SLX, BLX4R wireless systems. Each unit allows up to four wireless receivers to use the same two antennas, and the CASCADE ports allow connection to a fifth receiver or a second UA845UWB.

Compatibility. The UA845UWB is compatible with all Shure Axient Digital, UHF-R, ULX-D, SLX, BLX4R, QLX-D wireless microphone receivers operating within a compatible frequency range (see UHF Carrier Frequency Ranges in the Specifications section).

CASCADE Ports. Two 50 &Omega;, BNC-type antenna CASCADE ports allow an additional UA845UWB unit or a fifth wireless receiver. A large wireless system can be run off of a single pair of antennas.

Power OUTPUT and OUT Connectors for Shure UHF and UHF-R&reg; Wireless systems. Up to five U4 or UR4 receivers can be daisy-chained and powered from a single source via the Power OUTPUT connectors. DOES NOT APPLY TO ULX or ULX-D.

The Shure UABIAST is an in-line adapter that provides 12V DC Bias power to an active antenna or in-line accessory when a receiver&#39;s antenna input jack does not provide the necessary power. The UABIAST receives power from a wall outlet using a Shure PS24 power supply (included), and passes the RF signal while supplying power to an active antenna or other in-line device.
