Challenge

Aichi Prefectural University faced an urgent need to enhance their audio equipment to support growing demands for online and hybrid classes. The university's large lecture halls, accommodating up to 300 students, were equipped with traditional lavalier and handheld microphones, which had issues like battery life and user inconvenience. They needed high-performance microphones to cover large lecture spaces and ensure clear audio without frequent technical problems.

Solution

The university opted for ceiling array microphones that could cover the entire lecture hall. They selected Shure's MXA920 Ceiling Array Microphone due to its excellent audio quality and user-friendly features. After a successful demonstration with faculty, they installed the MXA920 in their lecture rooms (13 total). Additionally, they adopted the MXA902 Ceiling Array Microphone + Loudspeaker for their international online exchange spaces.
