Known Issues

• When connected to iPad via a USB-C cable, the MV7 will pass audio and gain can be adjusted. However, the MOTIV apps will only display ‘external mic’, and the settings screen will not be available. Shure recommends using another device to configure the settings before using with iPad Pro. No adjustments can be made in real time (except gain) on the Shure MOTIV apps when using an iPad Pro.

Known Issues

• A small percentage of users may receive a numerical error message while recording, such as “-1” or “66570.” These messages occur when there was an error writing to the device and are related to Apple’s new file system (APFS). One of these errors can occur even if your device has plenty of remaining storage. We recommend clearing up your device storage from the Settings screen, and if that doesn’t resolve the issues, doing a full restore from iTunes, consisting of backing up your device, wiping/restoring to factory settings, and restoring from the backup.
• If you monitor your recordings with Bluetooth earphones, you may hear artifacts, such as noise, while monitoring. If this occurs, we recommend changing the sample rate of your recordings. Some products may produce artifacts at 44.1 kHz, while others may do so for 48 kHz recordings. Please keep in mind that even if you hear artifacts while monitoring, they will not be present in the recordings themselves.

• Shure Audio Encryption is not backwards compatible; all devices must be on version 4.2.X firmware to use this feature
• Occasionally mute sync breaks between ANIUSB/P300 to MS Teams during a call when a mute button is quickly tapped multiple times. To resolve this, unplug and replug the USB cable or quit and restart Teams
• USB Output audio may be distorted by the host PC when using some USB extenders
• Shure Update Utility and Designer may not allow downgrading of new P300s shipped with 4.2.7 or higher due to a platform update to support future functionality and USB improvements

Known Issues

• Pop noise is triggered when the channel is unrouted in Dante controller
• Factory reset occasionally fails to reset Dante settings and/or fully disable encryption. Solution: Reboot the device if unable to route audio after factory reset.
• TCPI set 0 for input level switch also incorrectly changes the output level switch and vice versa
• When exporting Presets using Safari on a Mac OS, the file type is saved incorrectly and must be renamed to .json to be imported.
• When attempting to load the device’s web page after using SUU to upgrade or downgrade between MXA 4.2 and earlier releases, the browser may appear to be stuck on the “Loading” screen with the progress bar continually moving. This will typically happen if two upgrades or downgrades are performed within a one-hour period. To correct this, hold your Shift key and click the Refresh button in your browser (or press Ctrl+Shift+R [Win]/Ctrl+F5 [Win]/Cmd+Shift+R [Mac]; note the keyboard shortcut doesn't work on Safari)
• USB Output audio may be distorted by the host PC when using some USB extenders

Known Issues

• When Wi-Fi and Ethernet connections are present and available, UHF-R may not be discovered or respond to property changes.
• In certain scenarios, the app may prompt for Access Control PIN even when the PIN is remembered in the app settings.
• With Axient Digital ADX2FD in FD-C mode, sometimes there is a delay in the display of Frequency 1 (F1) antenna LEDs in the channel details view. The performance of the device is unaffected.
• With Axient Digital ADX2FD in FD-C mode and Frequency 2 (F2) is turned OFF, sometimes the antenna LEDs flicker. The performance of the device is unaffected.
• With Axient Digital ADX2FD in FD-C mode, the Channel Quality meter in the list view may not match the hardware when the app is launched. To resolve this, select another channel or view and then return to the affected channel in the list.
• When Axient Digital and Axient transmitters go offline or are unlinked, sometimes their data may not be removed dynamically. To resolve this, select another channel or view and then return to the affected channel.
• When using the search bar to find a channel by frequency, the list of found channels may not update if there is an asynchronous change to the frequency value of any channel.
• Sometimes when navigating from the transmitter tab of the channel details view to the channel info view and then back, the tab selection doesn't match the page.

• Monitoring and control support for Axient® Digital, Axient, UHF-R®, ULX-D®, QLX-D®, and PSM®1000 wireless systems. Previously instituted in-app purchases for editing functionality have been removed.
• For best results, ensure your connected devices are updated to the latest firmware using the Shure Update Utility desktop app.
• An 802.11, or 802.11ac wireless router is recommended for Wi-Fi connection.
• In order to view the SSID of your network connection type or SSID in the network status bar, you must permit the app access to your location. To do so, go to the Settings app on your iPhone or tablet, select Privacy > Location Services > Channels, and choose “While Using the App”.
