Improvements

  • ShurePlus Channels now uses the same Analytics platform as other Shure applications. Analytics allow us to inform app improvements based on your interactions with the app. Analytics are always optional and contain information about which features you use and what Shure hardware you connect to.

Known Issues

  • ADX5D may take several seconds longer to discover than other networked Shure devices
  • In certain cases using Quadversity mode on AD4Q, the "New Frequency" option is not displayed dynamically on the Frequency picker
    • Workaround: Refresh or close and relaunch the application
  • In certain cases when identifying multiple channels or devices, Inventory items may not load completely, and users may be unable to navigate to the detailed view
  • When using ULXD4Q in audio summing mode, audio LEDs in the application do not match the hardware’s front panel during audio overload
  • Axient and Axient Digital devices managed by an AXT600 with no new frequencies available will show an enabled “New Frequency” button when the button should be disabled
  • When using wired Ethernet with certain Android phones running Android 12, the connection is not always detected automatically
    • Workaround: Reinsert the ethernet adapter, then close and relaunch the application, or simply disable the Wi-Fi
  • Occasionally on Samsung Note 20 and S20 Ultra phones, the channels in the list view do not appear
    • Workaround: Close and relaunch the application

Improvements

Known Issues

  • When one Unmute/Mute LED light color is set to White at 100% Brightness while the other Unmute/Mute light is set to Off, it may cause the button to freeze or the device mute state to spontaneously change. Lowering the device LED brightness alleviates this issue.

    • Shure Update Utility 2.8.6
    • Shure Web Device Discovery 1.2.17
Firmware
6.2.59

Improvements

  • Bug fixes

Known Issues

  • The optional ARRAY_HEIGHT_OVERRIDE value sent via command strings must be resent upon power cycle
  • If the ARRAY_HEIGHT_OVERRIDE command is used to set a height that is outside the valid range (122-914 cm), the command will not display an error but internally, the value will be rejected from being set
  • Acoustic reflections from tables can sometimes be mistaken by the MXA920 as another source/talker location.  The symptom is a second talker location coordinate set in front of and higher than the actual talker.
    • Workaround: Place Coverage Areas to minimize pick-up of table surface reflections
  • Channel Names are not set in the initial attempt of ‘push-to-Dante’. Dante interface resets when Device Name is set.
    • Workaround: Channel Names are set on the 2nd attempt
  • MXA920 LED does not stay on after a reboot if the light settings are set to Unmute = Blue, Mute = Red. Other light combinations work as expected after reboot.
  • When a muted dynamic coverage area is moved when a dedicated coverage area has also been established, the mix output of the MXA920 has low-level audio from outside the dedicated coverage area limits.
    • Workaround: Unmute and Mute the dynamic coverage area after a dynamic coverage area is moved

Notes

  • Command Strings
  • Learn more about connecting via web browser in our FAQ
  • Note that Talker Position Events are published for talkers in a coverage area regardless of the mute status of the coverage area.  To fully inform camera switching decision logic, subscribe to the Coverage Area Mute Status. See Command Strings for further information.
