Logiciel
6.3.0

Important

  • To fully configure IntelliMix Room, download and install Shure Designer on a separate computer. Shure does not support installing Designer and IntelliMix Room on the same computer.
  • Please use the most recent version of Designer with IntelliMix Room. IntelliMix Room 6.3 is incompatible with Designer versions prior to 6.2.
  • When updating to IntelliMix Room 6.2 from previous versions, transmit audio routes from IntelliMix Room may fail to resolve. Please see this FAQ for more information.
  • System API Standalone may have different functionality from the System API version installed with IntelliMix Room. For full System API functionality, please download the latest version of System API Standalone here and provision the server onto a different computer.

Improvements

  • IntelliMix Room is now discoverable as a device in Shure Cloud.
  • Users can steal devices from other rooms in Room Setup.
  • Installer optimization for faster IntelliMix Room installations and upgrades
  • Bug fixes
    • Resolved: .NET versions other than 6.x prevents or corrupts IntelliMix Room Installation
    • Resolved: IMXR password with special characters cannot be used on upgrade from 4.2.0.73 to 6.X

Known Issues

  • Shure Cloud can't discover IntelliMix Room when performing "scan local network" from a host other than IntelliMix Room host system.
    • Workaround: use “SN and MAC” or “CSV file upload” to add multiple IntelliMix Room devices into your Shure Cloud device manager.
  • When Windows is configured in German, audio may not pass to Teams / Zoom after upgrading from IntelliMix Room 4.2 to 6.2.
    • Workaround: uninstall and reinstall IntelliMix Room 6.2
  • The VUSB driver may be disabled after upgrading from 4.2 to 6.x
    • Workaround: In Device Manager manually enable the Shure Intellimix Virtual USB Device driver. This configuration will persist on subsequent reboots.
  • Changing the System Name of the host computer after installation of IntelliMix Room also changes the Dante Device name in Dante Controller. The Shure device name stays the same. Changing the Dante Device name can impact audio routes to Dante receive devices.
  • Allowing a system running IntelliMix Room to enter a sleep state can cause issues with IntelliMix Room’s logic and mute synchronization functionality
    • Workaround: restart your computer
  • In some scenarios when using Dante Domain Manager with Shure devices, IntelliMix Room may appear as “Dante Locked” regardless of the device permissions set in Dante Domain Manager. In this state, IntelliMix Room networked audio settings cannot be customized.
    • Workaround: unenroll and reenroll IntelliMix Room within Dante Domain Manager

Notes

Improvements

  • Bug fixes

Known Issues

  • QLXD does not automatically reboot after factory reset, preventing settings from being applied.
    • Workaround: send reboot request after factory reset request
  • On large networks of 100+ devices, first queries of devices may return a “deadline exceeded” error. To work around, query the devices again.
  • Subscriptions to AudioChannelGainEvent will return duplicative responses for MXA901, MXA902, and MXA920 devices.
  • Subscriptions to FirmwareUpdateProgressEvent on MXA310 will skip TRANSFERRING_FILES and INSTALLING stages. Only PENDING and COMPLETE will be returned.
  • Subscriptions to UserPresetEvent will return duplicative responses upon a save event.
  • Attempting to set channel mute to false for MXWAPXD2 will return a 500 instead of a 400 error.
    • Workaround: To configure an individual channel mute state, do so via the mute properties of the transmitter.

Improvements

  • Bug fixes

Known Issues

    • Workaround: restarting the update will resolve the problem
  • Pop noise is triggered when the channel is unrouted in Dante controller with encryption enabled
  • When exporting Presets using Safari on a Mac OS, the file type is saved incorrectly and must be renamed to .json to be imported.
  • In AES67 mode - Audio does not pass after changing Dante Device name, followed by a reboot

Improvements

  • Bug fixes

Known Issues

  • The optional ARRAY_HEIGHT_OVERRIDE value sent via command strings must be resent upon power cycle
  • If the ARRAY_HEIGHT_OVERRIDE command is used to set a height that is outside the valid range (122-914 cm), the command will not display an error but internally, the value will be rejected from being set
  • Acoustic reflections from tables can sometimes be mistaken by the MXA920 as another source/talker location.  The symptom is a second talker location coordinate set in front of and higher than the actual talker.
    • Workaround: Place Coverage Areas to minimize pick-up of table surface reflections
  • Channel Names are not set in the initial attempt of ‘push-to-Dante’. Dante interface resets when Device Name is set.
    • Workaround: Channel Names are set on the 2nd attempt
  • MXA920 LED does not stay on after a reboot if the light settings are set to Unmute = Blue, Mute = Red. Other light combinations work as expected after reboot.
  • When a muted dynamic coverage area is moved when a dedicated coverage area has also been established, the mix output of the MXA920 has low-level audio from outside the dedicated coverage area limits.
    • Workaround: Unmute and Mute the dynamic coverage area after a dynamic coverage area is moved

Known Issues

  • When one Unmute/Mute LED light color is set to White at 100% Brightness while the other Unmute/Mute light is set to Off, it may cause the button to freeze or the device mute state to spontaneously change. Lowering the device LED brightness alleviates this issue.
