Shure Opens Office In Berlin’s House Of Music
CHICAGO, September 9, 2019—Shure Incorporated announced today it has opened a new sales and marketing office in Berlin. The House of Music is the city’s creative hub for musicians, content creators, companies, and organizations in the music industry. It combines live music, education, consulting, and business all under one roof.
The new Shure Berlin office is located at Revaler Straße 99, 10245 Berlin. It includes collaboration and working space for up to 12 Shure Associates. “Being a member of the House of Music community has many benefits for us,” said Abby Kaplan, Shure’s Vice President of Global Retail Sales. “It strategically expands Shure’s European business, allows for collective inspiration, and places us directly in the heart of Berlin’s vibrant creative scene.”
Shure will share the House of Music with two other key music-related businesses, noisy Musicworld GmbH (a service provider for the music industry that provides comprehensive support and rehearsal spaces for musicians) and BIMM (a higher education institution for music that offers a wide range of full-time BA courses in guitar, bass, drums, vocals, songwriting, music production, and music business).
“We are very pleased that Shure, as a company with more than 94 years of audio expertise, is part of the House of Music,” said Christian Rüsenberg, Managing Director, noisy Musicworld GmbH.
“From this close neighborhood with Shure we expect a lively interaction for us and our musicians,” added Robert Witoschek, Business Development Manager, BIMM.
Shure will also be close to large companies like Warner Music and Universal Music, and has no doubt that the creativity that will be stimulated in this new location offers new possibilities for its music and content creation business focus.
