Shure Statement Regarding MOTIV/iOS 11.3
Niles, IL., April 17, 2018—Over the past few months, it came to our attention that some users of our MOTIV microphones with the ShurePlus MOTIV app experienced issues using the app with an iPhone 8 or iPhone X, including no audio, digital audio artifacts, or lost audio while recording video. We investigated the issue and worked with Apple to find a solution.
We apologize for any difficulty that you, our valued customers, experienced using our app and we are happy to report that the latest software update from Apple, iOS 11.3, appears to resolve the issues with our MOTIV products and the iPhone 8 or iPhone X. We recommend that you update your MOTIV App and iOS software as soon as possible.
