Shure Creates Preset Modes For The New Yamaha TF Series Mixing Consoles
Niles, IL, April 16, 2015 – Shure is pleased to announce its collaboration with Yamaha Pro Audio on its new TF Series Mixing Consoles. The TF5, TF3, and TF1 are three new compact digital mixing consoles designed for small to medium sized applications that provide 32, 24, or 16 analog inputs, respectively. New users and experienced audio engineers will appreciate the advanced features of these new consoles, which are designed to simplify setup and streamline the soundcheck equation. With an advanced touch panel control system, easy single knob control for compression and EQ, and features that assist with setting up the ideal gain structure, the TF series enables engineers to focus on mixing. Additionally, mobile mixing and personal monitor mixing can be controlled wirelessly with separate software applications on a compatible device.
Shure has added its expertise to the TF series by providing preset parameters for its most popular mics across the PG ALTA™, SM, BETA®, and KSM lines. The presets are designed to match many different instruments and voices. They control parameters including EQ, dynamics, headamp gain, limiter, and gating, and can easily be adjusted in intensity with a single knob control. Presets can be recalled, changed, and then resaved to enable engineers to always have their preferred presets one touch away. A library of additional presets will be maintained and available for download from Yamaha’s website.
“We are very pleased to work with Yamaha on the integration of Shure mic presets in the new TF mixers,” said Matt Engstrom, Category Director for Wired Products at Shure. “These powerful mixers, combined with our presets and legendary microphones, will put outstanding audio in the hands of any audio engineer.”
