RECOMMENDATION
Update all Microflex® Advance™ microphones and Audio Network Interfaces in a configuration to the same firmware version.
IMPROVEMENTS
- Push to Dante feature now appends a -d to the Dante Device Name, preventing discovery issues
- Bug fixes
KNOWN ISSUE
- When exporting Presets using Safari on a Mac OS, the file type is saved incorrectly and must be renamed to .json to be imported
NOTES
- MXA310 version 1.2.6 is compatible with microphones running version 1.2.6 and below, but it is recommended to update all devices used together to the same firmware version.
- For operation of MXA310 version 1.2.6 with other Shure networked systems, reference the following list of minimum versions supported:
- ANI4IN 1.1.6
- ANI4OUT 1.1.6
- MXA910 1.1.3
- Microflex Wireless 4.0.7
- ULXD4 1.7.34
- ULXD4Q 1.7.34
- SCM820 1.3.3
- Shure Update Utility 2.2.2
- Shure Web Device Discovery 1.0.18
Recommendation
Update all MXA910 devices in a configuration to the same firmware version.
Improvements
- Push to Dante feature now appends a -d to the Dante Device Name, preventing discovery issues
- In Custom Automix Mode, Echo Reduction selections are properly applied
- TPCI command DEV_LED_IN_STATE now responds to a GET

- ULXD4Q 1.7.34
- SCM820 1.3.3
- Shure Update Utility 2.2.2
- Shure Web Device Discovery 1.0.18
Recommendation
Update all MXA910 devices in a configuration to the same firmware version.
New Feature
- A device-wide, low-frequency filter can now be enabled with a new Low-shelf Filter button on the browser-based web application.
Known Issue
- When exporting Presets using Safari on a Mac OS, the file type is saved incorrectly and must be renamed to .json to be imported
Notes
- This optional update makes installation and configuration more efficient when running independent channels into processing hardware, such as an echo canceller or automixer, to reduce low frequency buildup when channels are summed. This update is unnecessary for MXA910 microphones that are already installed and well-configured, and may require the user to disable the low frequency filter if updated.
- MXA910 version 1.3.4 is compatible with microphones running version 1.2.6 and below.
- For operation of MXA910 version 1.3.4 with other Shure networked systems, reference the following list of minimum versions supported:
- ANI4IN 1.2.6
- ANI4OUT 1.2.6
- MXA310 1.2.6
- Microflex Wireless 4.0.7
- ULXD4 1.7.34
- ULXD4Q 1.7.34
- SCM820 1.3.3
- Shure Update Utility 2.2.2
- Shure Web Device Discovery 1.0.18
IMPORTANT
QLX-D 2.X firmware versions are incompatible with 1.X firmware versions. To ensure all receivers and transmitters in a configuration function with each other, update all devices to the same firmware version.
IMPROVEMENTS
- Support for new VHF frequency bands:
- V50
- V51
- Update to the low-battery alert:
- The receiver LCD reports the transmitter low-battery status by flashing the LCD on the receiver.
- Threshold to trigger the alert
- SB900: less than 30 minutes
- Alkaline: around 30 minutes
- NiMH and Lithium: around 20 minutes
- Alert can be disabled via the advanced menu on the receiver. To enter the advanced menu, press the enter and menu buttons together.
- Improved audio stability in marginal RF conditions
