Improvements

  • ShurePlus Channels now uses the same Analytics platform as other Shure applications. Analytics allow us to inform app improvements based on your interactions with the app. Analytics are always Optional and contain information about which features you use and what Shure hardware you connect to.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue when in some cases using an iPad, the app crashed after being idle for over 15 minutes

Known Issues 

  • The transmitter count on the Transmitters tab is not updated dynamically in channels details view on AXT400 devices
    • Workaround: The transmitter count in the on-screen navigation is updated
  • ADX5D takes a few seconds longer to discover than other networked Shure devices

  • For the best results, ensure your connected devices are updated to the latest firmware using the Shure Update Utility desktop app. 
  • We recommend using devices and WiFi access points that support WiFi 6 or later.
  • In order to view the SSID of your network connection type or SSID in the network status bar, you must permit the app access to your location. To do so, go to the Settings app on your iPhone or tablet, select Privacy > Location Services > Channels, and choose “While Using the App”. 

Compatibility

  • Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices running iOS 15 or later. We can’t ensure compatibility or full-feature functionality with older operating systems.

  • Update any MXW devices which are below the minimum supported firmware 8.0.3 by using the Shure Update Utility (SUU) found here.  Please note – should the firmware version used be older than 5.2.2, it is advised to upgrade to version 5.2.2 first before updating to any subsequent more recent releases. Close the SUU when complete.

  • DHCP option 61 support - support for DHCP servers that make IP address offers that have option 61 defined.

Known Issues

  • The app can play files that are stored in the device’s music library. To enable this, go to the iOS Settings app, select PLAY from the list of apps, and turn on the “Allow PLAY to access Media & Apple Music” setting.
  • The app only plays files that are stored locally on the device. Some tracks that are stored in the cloud may appear grayed out in the app, but they cannot be played.
