Known Issues

  • Security Certificates:
    • Certificates must be in the PEM (Privacy Enhanced Mail) format
    • Certificates must be X.509 certificates and keys: PEM (Base64 ASCII), and DER (binary)
  • The CUI may become unresponsive after a firmware update
    • Workaround: Try clearing the cache on your browser to re-assert the connection.  Please check your web browser for instructions on how to clear the browser cache. A common method of clearing the cache of a browser is Ctrl SHIFT R .
  • Browser disconnection: Web browsers connected to our devices maybe disconnected after one hour if no user activity is detected.  Refresh the browser to re-establish the connection.
  • In AES67 mode - Audio does not pass after changing Dante Device name, followed by a reboot
  • ANI22-XLR reverses absolute phase from Analog in to Dante out – workaround is to enable “Invert polarity” for Dante Output
  • When exporting Presets using Safari on a Mac OS, the file type is saved incorrectly and must be renamed to .json to be imported

Please Read Before Updating

  • Prior to Installing IntelliMix Room 6.2, ensure your .NET version is 6.0. Other versions of .NET may prevent IntelliMix Room Installation.

Important

  • To fully configure IntelliMix Room, download and install Shure Designer on a separate computer. Shure does not support installing Designer and IntelliMix Room on the same computer.
  • IntelliMix Room 6.2 is compatible with Designer 6.2 only.
  • When updating to IntelliMix Room 6.2 from previous versions, transmit audio routes from IntelliMix Room may fail to resolve. Please see this FAQ for more information.
  • System API Standalone may have different functionality from the System API version installed with IntelliMix Room. For full System API functionality, please download the latest version of System API Standalone here.

Device Behavior Changes

  • Installer prevents installation when System API Standalone is detected. To install IntelliMix Room, uninstall System API and run the IntelliMix Room installer again.

Improvements

  • AI Deverb DSP Feature
  • Bug fixes
    • Resolved: IntelliMix Room 6.1 is not discoverable in Designer if PC Hostname contains unsupported Unicode characters.
    • Resolved: IntelliMix Room fails to activate a license if PC Hostname contains unsupported Unicode characters.

Known Issues

  • When Windows is configured in German, audio may not pass to Teams / Zoom after upgrading from IntelliMix Room 4.2 to 6.2.
    • Workaround: uninstall and reinstall IntelliMix Room 6.2
  • Changing the System Name of the host computer after installation of IntelliMix Room also changes the Dante Device name in Dante Controller. The Shure device name stays the same. Changing the Dante Device name can impact audio routes to Dante receive devices.
  • Allowing a system running IntelliMix Room to enter a sleep state can cause issues with IntelliMix Room’s logic and mute synchronization functionality
    • Workaround: restart your computer
  • In some scenarios when using Dante Domain Manager with Shure devices, IntelliMix Room may appear as “Dante Locked” regardless of the device permissions set in Dante Domain Manager. In this state, IntelliMix Room networked audio settings cannot be customized.
    • Workaround: unenroll and reenroll IntelliMix Room within Dante Domain Manager
