Shure Adds “Great Hall” Exhibit to its Corporate Headquarters

February 16, 2016 |

Niles, IL, February 16, 2016 – Shure Incorporated recently unveiled its Great Hall, a unique exhibition designed and constructed to portray and honor the rich history of the Company. The Great Hall serves as a retrospective of Shure’s Past, Present, and Future—showcasing Associates, celebrated products, and technological innovations.

Designed and developed to commemorate the Company’s 90th year in business, a stunning collection of products, memorabilia, and notable artifacts from Shure’s Corporate Archives are on display, illustrating Shure’s impact on events of the 20th and 21st centuries.

“I know this new addition to our Corporate Headquarters will stimulate even more interest in our Company’s rich legacy,” said Mark Brunner, Senior Director and Great Hall Steering Committee Member. “We hope The Great Hall will inspire new generations of Associates, through a clearer picture of our Company’s shared and legendary past.”

Featured in the exhibit are museum-quality product display cases and a 110’ x 12’ gallery, presenting Shure’s history and iconic sphere of audio solutions. Highlighting legendary products and significant global events, the exhibit showcases Unidyne® Microphones, Phonograph Products, Wireless Systems, founder S.N. Shure’s life and work, and the Company’s impact on history.

A project of this magnitude and importance required the collaboration of numerous long-time partners and colleagues. Shure selected Krueck+Sexton as the architectural firm, Pentagram for exhibit design and content development, and Clune Construction to build the exhibit.

“I have to give credit for this impressive gallery to our late Chairman, Mrs. Rose Shure, as this project is a result of her imagination and vision,” said Sandy LaMantia, Shure CEO. “Mrs. Shure intended this exceptional exhibit to present events, products, narrative, and the history of the Company, as well as to serve as a tribute to S.N. Shure and all of the Associates who have played a role in our success. All of us at Shure thank her for providing us with this wonderful legacy.”
