Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) Elevates with Shure Thailand
Introduzione
After undergoing a three year renovation, the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) has recently been upgraded to become the destination for events and exhibitions in Bangkok, Thailand. QSNCC aims to become the Ultimate Inspiring World Class Event Platform for All and a new world-class event destination. Situated at prime location in the city, it is the prime venue for major events since its inception.
QSNCC offers flexible solutions for every event and can accommodate all kinds of gatherings concurrently, from international tradeshows to live performances to e-sports tournament and so much more. Five times larger than its predecessor, the new QSNCC boasts world-class facilities and state-of-the-art technology.
Challenge
Spanning 300,000 sqm and comprising of eight exhibition halls, a ballroom and plenary hall, and approximately 50 meeting spaces, the venue strive to offer modern facilities and complete functionality for the MICE and event market in the city and region. Looking to go above and beyond expectations, QSNCC has a comprehensive design and technical specifications for their audio solutions.
Solution
Crystal clear audio is an essential part of any meeting. Shure’s digital wireless systems have proven to provide QSNCC with reliable wireless frequencies which enable their team to execute flawless audio performances no matter the venue and occasion. 52 channels of Shure ULX-D and QLX-D Digital Wireless for its audio quality and modern Dante networked control feature. Shure Wireless Workbench (WWB) is also utilized for monitor channels and manage performance.
Mahajak Development was appointed as the system integrator after an opening bidding process. The proposed solutions went through a rigorous testing and POC process before being selected for the project.
Advantages
The ULX-D and QLX-D Digital Wireless systems performed flawlessly for various events. For networked audio applications, the receivers’ Dante digital networking allows multiple channels of audio over a single Ethernet cable. Active directional antennas were also installed for improved wireless signal reception. The In-Line Antenna Amplifier amplifies the received radio signals to compensate for insertion loss in the coaxial cable. The Antenna Distribution System allows you to stretch the power of your antenna pairs to cover all areas.
Both ULX-D and QLX-D Digital Wireless Systems are compatible with Shure Wireless Workbench (WWB), a free software that allows the team to remotely configure, manage, and monitor all the Shure gear from a central location. With WWB, all wireless microphones can be controlled at the ease of a few clicks.
Shure QLX-D Digital Wireless Systems which is designed to behighly RF spectrum efficient, can operate more than 50 compatible channels simultaneously. With it’s High Density Mode function, it optimizes the system and creates additional bandwidth for more channels in crowded RF environments.
In addition, Shure Audio Network Interface is added to seamlessly convert audio transmission from analog to digital for pristine conference audio. It can be used independently in any space, from public announcement system to other sources via Dante networked audio.
QSNCC is now equipped with the state-of-the-art communications, translation and audio-visual technology to provide the very best support for international events.
