NEW FEATURES
- Tone key selection options to allow only Axient or only UHF-R transmitters for receiver audio
- Additional options to protect the receiver from unintended transmitters
- Default Tone Key setting automatically detects Axient or UHF-R tone key to activate the corresponding audio scheme
- In Frequency Diversity – Bodypack mode, the receiver selects away from a radio channel receiving the wrong tone key
- In Ear Monitor signal detection
- The receiver can identify signals from In Ear monitor transmitters, triggering Interference Detection and Avoidance even in FM capture scenarios where the IEM carrier is much stronger than the desired signal
- Alerts in ‘Prompt’ Interference Detection mode indicate that the interfering signal is from an IEM system
- Detects all Shure and most competitive IEM systems
IMPROVEMENTS
- Confirmation for interference-prompted frequency switches when transmitter is offline
- Additional prompt to avoid unintentionally changing frequency when a linked transmitter is not online to follow the change
KNOWN ISSUES
- When controlling Axient devices with command Strings, only a single socket should be opened per device.

Important
- ULXD4D and ULXD4Q receivers running firmware prior to 1.4.8 must be updated to 1.4.8 before updating to newer versions.
- ULXD4D and ULXD4Q receivers running firmware between 1.4.8 and 2.0.28 must be updated to 2.0.28 before updating to newer versions.
- After 2.0.28 is installed, ULXD4D and ULXD4Q receivers can be updated to the latest available firmware version.
- ULX-D devices that are downgrading to 1.5.6 may report a false failure.
- Workaround: Because this is a false failure, closing the send updates window and going to the main page, Shure Update Utility will show green for the firmware version.
New Features
- AMX/Crestron control (full documentation here)
- High Density mode (notes on Frequency Coordination for ULX-D High Density channels)
- Dual and Quad receiver compatibility
Improvements
- Extended control of several parameters within Wireless Workbench, including Frequency Diversity Bodypack Source Indication (for ULX-D Dual and Quad receivers only)
- Various system and component bug fixes and improvements
Notes
- For operation of ULX-D devices with other Shure networked systems, see the following list of minimum firmware versions that are supported with ULX-D version 1.2.14:
- ULXD1/2 ULXD Transmitters 1.2.14
- ULXD4, ULXD4D, ULXD4Q ULX-D Receivers 1.2.14
